#StayAtHome - COVID-19

All of us at Ellisons Jewellers, Belfast and Cahoons Jewellers, Cookstown have felt privileged to play a part in the many happy occasions life can bring. There is nothing we enjoy more than finding that perfect item for your Christenings, Birthdays, Engagements, Weddings and Anniversaries. It has always been our pleasure to share in these special events and milestones with our customers over the decades we have been in business.

However, in light of the spread of Coronavirus and in consideration for the health and safety of our staff and customers, we feel that the only responsible decision is to close our showrooms until this scourge on our community has passed. The problem we are all facing is much bigger than us, but every person’s health is now reliant on each person acting responsibly and we believe it is our civic duty to do what we can to slow down the pandemic.

For these reasons, both shops will temporarily close on Tuesday 24th March. We kindly ask that Tuesday is reserved for collections of new orders and repairs only. Should anyone wish for an item to be delivered, please let us know and we will be more than happy to oblige.

We will still be contactable by telephone, email and on social media after this date and will use the time to develop our online presence further. You can view and purchase from a currently limited selection on our website. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any enquiries we may be of help with.

As a family-run business, we all have the same worries as you and acknowledge that uncertain times are ahead. But with care for ourselves and kindness to others, we will get through this difficult time. We hope things will get back to normal as soon as possible and like other local businesses, we will depend on the loyalty and support of our customers more than ever to help bring our high streets back to life.

We would also like to thank the full team at Ellisons and Cahoons; colleagues they have been with us for many, many years. We look forward to the day when we can all return to make life normal again.

Wishing You and Your Families a Safe Passage through these next few weeks,

Arnold and Jonny
